Title: Custodian

Location: Jenkins Independent Schools/Jenkins, KY/Letcher County

Credentials: High School or GED, experience may replace diploma/certification.

Employment type: Morning and Evening shifts available

Pay rate: Base pay $11.61/Hourly. Increases per year of relevant experience.

Special Skills/Knowledge Required: Custodial experience preferred; clean drug screen and TB skin test required; valid driver's license.

Primary functions:

Clean, sanitize, sterilize surfaces per health and safety regulations.
Sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, dusting, emptying trash, and maintaining inventory on a regular basis.
Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
Clean school grounds as necessary; removing debris and safety hazards and ensuring cleanliness.
Notify manager of any noted repairs that need to be completed.
